We crossed into our final United State of the 50, Nevada, just before lunchtime on 3 September 2025. Cindy and I started our USA partnership via Washington, Idaho, and Montana in July 2016, so it took us around 10 years to tick them all off. After that first fabulous trip we did Alaska, No.1 for awesomeness in my opinion, and Hawaii in 2019. But the Lower48Mate over five months from the end of May to mid-October 2025 was right up there into the journeys of our lifetime, and crossing into the last, coincidentally our first together, Washington on 27 September 2025 was a moment we won’t forget quickly.

To wrap it up we stepped aside and allowed the professionals back on the stage – Johnny Cash and our talented daughter Kate who understands how computers work. This is their encore…..
